For seven years, Particle Physics has been a core part of my life while working as a PhD student and a postdoctoral researcher.
Academia, the land of research, is a complex territory. With so few permanent settlers, most of its inhabitants are wanderers, on a difficult path to determine their next step, from contract to contract, country to country.
This lurking instability was a strange companion of my research. The feeling of familiar places irremediably drifting away was the starting point of this project.
Not only these pictures are a reminder of the laboratories I visited, packed with the memories of researchers and scientific instruments that paved my everyday life. But more importantly, they are the tiniest signal of stability I conceived to enjoy my trajectory throughout Academia while figuring out my future.
